That's very interesting Vicki

The only difference between standard Impact and Impact Plus AR1 is that the
standard version produces endophyte toxins while the Plus AR1 version
doesn't, and I have seen enough side by side plantings to be sure that
during late spring, summer and autumn the Plus AR1 is more palatable than
standard. As I said in my first reply, the fact that the issue is present
year round indicates that it is not endophyte related, and you are right
that Plus AR1 is the natural progression and an improvement.

As you have had good success with Impact in the past (I assume in other
paddocks?), we can be pretty sure it's not the grass either and it sounds
like you have your grazing management under control, although I'm not sure
about the different grazing heights, do you mean post-grazing residuals or
pre-grazing height?.

This takes us back to a soil plant interaction. My guess would be that the
lime application has triggered something. Usually problems like this are
caused by a combination of factors, and can be difficult to diagnose,
particularly via email.

If you want to give me a call I am happy to come down and have a look,
hopefully as the paddock is being grazed or has cows standing on it anyway.
