Hi Alastair,
I have a PDA, which I use in my nursery for stock records, diary, to do
list, etc. Has been good, though it's an old one and doesn't have a phone.
One word of WARNING, when syncronizing the PDA always check which
dirrection your sending files. I have done work with the PDA and
syncronized it and lost all the data collected. This is very
frustrating!!!!!!
Cheers

Hi,
I am interested in buying a palm/PDA for farm management use.
Does anyone have experience with this type of equipment in terms of
hardware and software available, how user friendly and "farm-outdoors"
(read dust/water/shock proof)friendly they are.
I am interested in something that runs GPS as well as the usual software
programs and any specific farm systems.
Thanks
Alastair
