Remember there is an invaluable resource available called "Successful;
Silage" otherwise known as the TopFodder Silage Manual.

It is either available by participating in any TopFodder Silage course run
in Australia or can be purchased separately from NSW DPI. Order forms can
be downloaded from www.topfodder.com.au/
