The Tasmanian Department of Primary Industries - Dairy Branch has a
fixed-term (for 2 years) project officer position currently available.
This position will be working on the new Dairy Australia funded extension
project in the state called Pasture Plu$. It is a position where you will
work closely with the states farmers in helping them to improve their dairy
business. The Pasture Plu$ project is looking at improving farmer skills
in five key areas; 1. Pasture Management, 2. Nutrition, 3. People (young
farmers) 4. Business Management and 5. Environmental Management. The
position will be working within the Dairy Branch team and assisting to
develop, deliver and administer the project.
