Hi all.
Well thankyou Gregg Cook that was very interesting reading.....
i have a neighbour who has sown advance fescue about 6 weeks ago into about 15 acres
of maginally saline dryland creek flats, unfortunatly we have only had enough rain to
strike it and thats all. i mentioned to him my findings on autumn sowing of fescue
and that the research farm autumn fescue is not doing so well...his advisor richard
churchly had said that the MRF fescue had been sown very late in autumn and that
early sow stuff should do much better.. Can you tell me when it was sown?..was it
irrigated to "help" it along?... as the stuffs not much good if it can only be
established under pefect conditions no-matter how good the feed value of it is.
