Thanks Peter for taking the time to give such a detailed response!
I will have to find the answers to a couple of the questiones you asked.
The basic concept is to try my hand at setting up a machine from scratch.
It was hit by lightening and has been replaced. I figure anything I do to
it cant be as bad :-)
It is currently running W95 and I have a Full rather than Upgrade to W98.
Apologies for asking a BIG question to start with!!!
