dereg-junket

Hi All,

I hope someone can point me in the right direction to ask the
following questions as I realise there are not a whole lot of us online as
yet, and so far this is the most information I have received regarding the
deregulation issue.

Why are we having this deregulation at all, sure Nationally we
pressure the other State's but isn't the real reason to meet our
(Australia's) GATT commitment, and if so how does this arrangement help.

If I were to choose not to take this loan?, would I still have to pay
the levy, and what is the interest rate likely to be? What would happen if a
sharefarmer or owner recieved his payment and then shifted to a larger or
smaller farm the next year, would the payment have to be adjusted, as it
should be if it's for future loss?

Sounds like a junket for the administrating board to me, and we will
pay the bills.

regards, Peter.
