One alternative I use is to set up a macro that would automatically bring up the save dialogue when you open a new document. You still have to name the thing, but at least you could get all that over before starting typing. Naming a file properly and saving it in the right place is a discipline which can save an awful lot of hard searching later. The macro to use is called InitNew. I think this has to be in the Nisus Macro file to work. The simple command, 'Save' does the trick. Hope this helps. cheers, Nick www.nickpage.co.uk www.worldsworstwriters.co.uk www.performingwonders.co.uk >For the next update I would like to make a small request: I am not a touch >typer but I can get up to quite a speed with a run up.
