Ehmmm, sorry, I don't really understand what you're getting at I'm afraid :)

But yes, I've got the basic courses for Photoshop, Illustrator and Quark X$tress through my employer (switching from classic Repro work) and after that started nagging for follow-ups. Which landed me in a few "master-classes" as they called it?! All very nice, but IMNSHO to improve ones "level" has far more to do with experience and actually using the damned proggies (a lot of my collegues left it at the basic training and put the so called difficult jobs on my plate - and then moan that they want more courses).

The rest of it (like replacing internal drives, placing RAM, Mac knowledge, that kind of thing) I learnt myself through some books and various web sites. That goes for my petty attempst at programming too, which haven't really taken off yet :)

But it WILL come when I have some more time (still have one kid at home and hafta setup my old Performa 475 somewhere for my better half's erotic writing which is slowly entering the professional stage <g>). Discover Programming from Metrowerks is a great package for only 50 $, but for an old fart like me starting from scratch it is a lot of work. Fun though!

But I don't understand what the police have to do with earning a lot of money. Or do you mean politicians?

Have fun, Hermie
