Hi Mark,

I tried this letter changing thing in Word 98, and hey with macro recording
one can do this even in Word 98! Can you believe that?

So I have to give a more complex example, which makes Nisus so special.

Once I had to do a TV gameshow job in which I wrote hundreds of questions
each with 6 multiple answers like this:

What is the best text processor?
Nisus Writer*
Word
Star Office
Word Perfect
BBEdit
Simple Text

When all these questions were written some of the production staff had the
idea to arrange the answers such that they come on the TV screen in order
from the shortest to the longest answer:

What is the best text processor?
BBEdit
Star Office
Simple Text
Word Perfect
Nisus Writer*

I had to rearrange them! All! Drag and drop hundreds no thousands of
answers? This would have meaned hours of dragging and dropping! No way!

Even without the brilliant macros some of the folks here have written (with
which I could do this in one rush!!!) it would have been possible because
of Nisus writer's 10 clipboards. I could have copied each of those 6
answers into clipboards 1 to 6 and then paste them all back. A process of
maybe 5 seconds. Multiply with somehundred questions, maybe an hour hiting
some short cuts.

But I had these macros from those friendly geniuses out there...

Know what? If Nisus Writer were a DOS text processor, I even would change
the platform and quit my Mac! Honest!

Best Matze
