It made all the difference. Fast, cool, huge and stable. No cards or wierd extensions. Fast enough for digital video (though not fast enough for analog: then you'll have to go the UW/U2 route) Check out news://comp.sys.mac.hardware.storage http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/ http://www.macgurus.com/ for good advice I found with my previous 1.2GB set-up instablity always increased as the disk got full. Also the new disks increased perfomance more than the G3 upgrade I also installed from Rod
