Hi Rick, Thanks. That works for a given document, of course. I take it that there's no way to edit the default (unnamed) ruler that is automatically inserted to govern notes? As a relative newcomer to NW, I find it difficult sometimes to know just what can and can't be customized. The user manual on this point seems to imply that the default is customizable, but perhaps that is my misreading.
