Unfortunately, with Nisus you cannot use Footnotes and Endnotes in the
same document. Probably there are several work arounds. What I can
conceive is this:

1. In the first page of your document, insert Footer.

2. In this foot note area, write the note text preceded by an asterisk
which should be a normal character typed with asterisk key, NOT a note symbol.

3. In the appropriate place of your document, type an asterisk which
should be a normal character too.

4. In the second page of your document, in order to prevent the
"Footer-Note" to appear in every page, insert a Footer which may be empty
or may contain page number or whatever you like.

So this is not a footnote in its proper meaning but pseudo-footnote. As
for the rest, set them as endnote (in Notes edit window: Notes -> Note
Placement -> Display Notes as Endnotes).

Hope this helps
