I don't think I have any good ideas if you're having no Finder problems at all anywhere besides NE. I'll be interested with you to see whether anyone else is experiencing the same difficulty. If you can get the problem to reappear with NisusEmail and then immediately successfully send the same attachment with an alternate emailer, you ought to let the NIsus folks know that, I think. (Try to send them all the steps you took after startup until the problem showed up so that they can try to recreate it.) And maybe they could think of something for you to do (or try). Rick, I was just looking back through the rest of your message before mailing this off and noticed something odd. Look below, at your text where you quoted me. It's leaving off spaces in some places. Look at these: "bea good", "replacethe", "Finder, you", "don't pullit", " Thateasy", and slightlydifferent". Did you receive my message with those spaces missing? (The copy of my message that the server sent to me looks okay--the proper spaces are there, just as in the original before it was sent.) I notice that you sent it via NIsusEmail, Rick, but I don't think I've noticed that kind of problem with NisusEmail before. I wonder whether you might not be having more problems with NE than just with finding attachments? If so, it might help to wipe out NisusEmail Preferences (NisusEmail Files folder) and if that doesn't clear things up, try installing a fresh download of it. Oh, I just thought of something else. . . were you using a macro in connection with your mail when the attachments didn't go? (The kind of quoting you're using suggests that.) If you were using a macro, then there's one other thing you might try: first get the attachnment problem to show up. Then try it again without using the macro.
