I too have a G4, and only one app. does not have warp speed and is mouse controllable, and that is the Eudora address list. I used to be able to control other apps by means of distance, i.e., the further one would drag the arrow below a given line the faster the scroll would be. Conversely, putting the arrow/cursor just a hair below any line would make snail-slow scrollability. WP and Netscape scroll so quickly that I usually slide by the bookmarks a few times. Despite the speed of the G4, I would think that a smarter rodent could be made, if not a software solution. Using the down arrows works in WP, but not in pull down menus. Harry M.
