It sounds to me as if you might have a problem with the usernames on the 4 NT machines. Are all 6 of the NT machines part of the same NT domain, or are some of them standalone servers? If the latter, there will be no replication of users and therefore no ability to authenticate users from the PDC (Primary Domain Controller for the NT network/domain). From Dan who gets paid to administer NT machines by day..... >I'm needing to mount several volumes located on Windows NT 4sp6 >servers sharing under Services For Macintosh. > >My syntax is as follows: > >mount volume "volumename" on server "servername" as user name >"username" with password "password" > >Two of six of my Macs will mount the volumes from the Windows >servers and all of the Macs will mount the volumes from every >AppleShareIP server. > >When the four Macs fail, they return a "Network File Permission" error. > >All of my Macs are configured identically (same OS 9.04, Applescript >versions, etc.).
