As David Livesay mentioned, short expressions of personal beliefs
are perfectly OK in one's signature, and exceptions are also often
made for humour, but we need to remember the great diversity of
people in the world who may subscribe to this list. There could be
Hindus, Taoists, and even some Australians, who really don't need
a Sunday school lesson on a technical mailing list.
