Have you speed tested the two to see what garners the fastest results? Just curious...my main focus in a script is always speed rather than worrying about complexity. I'll try to test it later today...but my only machine not grinding away right now (huge applescript running for the past 4 days solid--speed is essential) is an OS X machine, so I don't necessarily know if the tests will be the same betwixt the twain of the OS's. cole On Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at 11:48 PM, Roderick Scott Corporation wrote: >> try >> alias strFolderPath > > Considering we're looking for failure, this is a shorter, more > reliable process than using 'exists' ------------------------------
