No its not...

At least not in a useful sense.  The conversion to eps is performed through
a 'file type conversion' which is read only.  There is only one file type
conversion supplied and that converts at level 1. I cant seemto create my
own file type conversion or alter what is supplied.

The AS dictionary says that the PostScript level property of the file type
conversion  is a read/write integer but the IAC document, and experience,
shows that it is not.

It seems that we are still back to third party plug ins to acheive
automated eps conversion.  Unfortunately, Adobe are still not taking
publishing workflow systems nearly as seriously as Office integration
